ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Plano, Texas and graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1979. After high school, I earned a Bachelors degree in Chemistry at Baylor University, a Bachelors degree in Medical Science from Texas A&M University, a Masters degree from Texas A&M University in Biochemistry, and an MD from Texas A&M University College of Medicine. I pursued a surgical path after medical school with a 5 year General Surgery Internship/Residency at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas and a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic General Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I then returned to Texas in 1996 and practiced General Surgery. For the past 10 years, I have expanded my practice to include wellness and weight loss and a broad spectrum of Aesthetics. I now oversee Vital Aesthetics with my wife and partner Dr. Michele Cavenee to better provide advanced Aesthetic care to North Texas.
