Dr Bankston is a board certified OB-GYN who is a lifelong Texas resident. She graduated from Allen High School and did her undergraduate studies at Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Her medical training was completed at UT Southwestern Medical School with her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology completed at UT Southwestern/ Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She has been in private practice since 1998 in Plano, Texas and is a co-owner of Associated Women's Healthcare. She provides low and high risk obstetrical care, Robotic minimally invasive surgery using the DaVinci Robotic system, Operative hysteroscopy, routine gynecologic and surgical care as well as care for women of all ages from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Her leadership roles thoughout her years in private practice include Department Chief for the department of OB-GYN at Medical City Plano, Secretary, Vice Chief and Chief of Staff at Medical City Plano. She is currently accepting new patients for both obstetrical and gynecologic care.
